I hate the word “blog”.

Welcome to all. That’s just a start. I had been a coder for long time and spent my best hours in front a CRT screen to think about having a personal page also to update, maybe just for fun. As often happens when you change your profession you open your mind to many things. One of those is the need to be present. To say your point of view, even without knowing if and when an audience will listen. Many people did that before me.
